Hey Ladies! Trash the Dress has been getting a lot of press lately! There have been articles in the New York Times and stories on Entertainment Tonight and Good Morning America! I have a group of about 10 photographers right now that would be doing a Trash the Dress Bash in the Northern Virginia area. We haven’t set a date yet, but we would like to do this sometime in July. Since most of the photographers involved have weddings to shoot, we would have to do this on a Sunday. If anyone is interested, please leave a comment on this blog (please make sure you provide your e-mail address!) and I’ll be in touch with you.
Oh, and this will not cost you a cent! ** You will have to agree to allowing the photographers present to use the images for their portfolio and commercial use.

** - The “not costing a cent” only applies to this “Trash the Dress Bash - DC” Event. Any sessions scheduled outside of this special event are subject to regular session fees.

When is the bash. I’m not getting married until September but I want to do this either with a group or solo. I can’t seem to find someone in my area (Baltimore). Please keep me informed about the details.

I may be interested!!! I live about two hours from NoVA, but would love to get some good trashed photos in DC! You say it won’t cost us a cent… would we be able to get any of the pictures for ourselves if you happen to get some good ones? I don’t know how this sort of thing works!

Yep, as long as you do this during the “Trash the Dress - DC” event on July 15, it won’t cost you a cent and yes, you will get copies for yourself.

Please contact me, I am very interested! I have a beatiful dress and am willing to part with it for a session, as I never got any pictures of me and my husband alone at the wedding. Our photographer didn’t even take any of us without family! This would be even better than a regular photo shoot!
Does this cost anything? I would like more details.
