Every week I will post a new question for the Question of the Week. Hopefully, the question will be posted each Monday morning. If you don’t see the question posted by noon, then the first person to notify me will receive something special for letting me know. I don’t know what that something special is yet, but you’ll just have to catch me not posting the QOTW and find out.
This week’s question: If you could visit anywhere at all, where would you go and why would you go there?
You have until 5 PM (EDT) on Friday, June 13, 2008 to submit your answer. You must comment on this post in order to be considered for the drawing. A name will be drawn randomly from all the submitted answers and the winner will receive a complimentary portrait session.
FINE PRINT: Winner does not actually receive a dream vacation.
In April I went to visit my new friends, Chloe, Gretchen, Jaclyn and Ercin. Chloe and Gretchen own Metropolitan Nannies in Northern Virginia, but they allow Jaclyn to help out. If you’re looking for a nanny or baby sitter in Northern Virginia, then give Jaclyn at Metropolitan Nannies a call. If you’re looking for photography services, well, then give Neal Jacob Photography a call.
When I see members of our Armed Services or Public Safety Services, I want to thank them, but how? Doesn’t it feel awkward just going up to someone randomly on the street and saying “Thank you for protecting me.” or “Thank you for serving our country.”? I’m sure it is not only uncomfortable for me, but probably uncomfortable to the other person too.
Just the other day I was discussing this topic with a friend and she later forwarded me a link to The Gratitude Campaign. Now I just have to get over my fear of someone thinking I was off my medication if they see me doing this in public.
THANK YOU to all members of the U.S. Armed Services and Public Safety and First Response. Thank you for putting your life on the line to keep me and my family safe.
I am announcing a new feature, “The Question of the Week”. I was originally going to call it “The Question of whenever I think of a new question”, but that didn’t exactly flow off the tip of the tongue. A new question will be posted every Monday and answers will be accepted through Friday. Since today’s question is being posted on a Wednesday, you’ll have until next Friday (June 6) to submit your answers. A name will be drawn randomly from all the submitted answers and the winner will receive a complimentary portrait session.
This week’s question: What would you do for a Klondike Bar?
You have until 5 PM (EDT) on Friday, June 6, 2008 to submit your answer. You must comment on this post in order to be considered for the drawing.
FINE PRINT: Winner may not actually receive a Klondike Bar.
